Born in Fort Worth and raised in Houston, Sam K. Mukerji is a native Texan. Sam attended The University of Texas at Austin and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and then went to St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio.

Early on in Sam’s legal education, he had an overwhelming desire to help individuals. In preparation to become a lawyer, Sam was a part of the Criminal Justice Clinic at St. Mary’s University School of Law and was handpicked along with one other student to be the only Clinic participants to take to trial a criminal matter during that academic year.

Immediately after passing the bar exam, Sam took a position as a Criminal Defense attorney at a prominent Central Texas law firm that primarily handled personal injury matters. After winning all three of his criminal trials, at the request of the managing attorney, Sam made the switch to representing injured individuals, and has been doing so ever since.

Sam started his own law firm in 2008 believing that he could better represent those that had been injured due to no fault of their own by managing all aspects of a person’s case – from intake to trial. Sam continues to this day to personally handle the most difficult and highest-damages cases on the firm’s docket.

Sam believes the law was made to protect individuals from the wrongdoing of irresponsible individuals and corporations. He believes a competent lawyer is necessary to make sure these individuals are pursuing all rights available under the law when it comes to personal injury claims. His track record is proof. His pursuit of justice has led to winning over tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements.

Sam is an active member of several prestigious professional associations including Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Civil Rights Project.
