IS ANY CAR SAFE? ANOTHER AUTOMAKER RECALLS 6.4 MILLION VEHICLES
Another car manufacturer joins the other automakers in recalling a large number of vehicles. Toyota announced that they would recall 6.4 million vehicles to address five separate issues.
The largest recall will address a faulty cable that could prevent an airbag from deploying. Another addresses seat rails that could break, increasing the risk of injury. A third addresses steering column brackets that can become unstable. The fourth addresses problematic windshield wipers, and the last fixes starter motors that could cause fires.
The vehicles affected include the 2009-2010 Corolla, 2009-2010 Matrix, 2008-2010 Highlander, 2009-2010 Tacoma, 2006-2008 RAV4 and 2006-2010 Yaris vehicles.
If you own any of these vehicles or any of the other vehicles recalled, please have those issues fixed. If you believe you were injured because of any of these recalls, you have options. Please call us for a free consultation to learn more.
